After seven years’ experience in the high-end jewelry industry, Valerie followed her passion to create a business that comes from the heart and introduced the Etrocha concept in 2009. Using jewellery as a vehicle to say something beautiful and lasting to each other. Parenthood has been a deep source of inspiration for this endeavor. Running a business, like raising a family, can be a huge challenge, but if you open up your soul, it all unfolds like magic. Small things become meaningful and you reinvent the essence of life. That rediscovered sensitivity helps Valerie in writing text, being creative and loving it!
The hummingbird:
"Etrocha was created as an ode to my children, and the name is made from a combination of my boys’ names. I feel I owe it all to them. I chose the hummingbird for the logo because it flaps its wings back and forth as to draw the sign of eternity playing with the air. That 's what etrocha is all about: Eternal love, the beauty of life and sharing."
